As the 2009-2010 school year began residents of Tivoli Village were forced to deal with the many cars and many parents that were waiting for elementary and middle school bus arrival as the intersection of Pine Leaf and Econ.was an OCPS bus stop. Anyone driving up to the intersection had some serious safety concerns to keep in mind. By September the problem was rectified with the cities installation of "No Parking" signs and curb painting. Safety issues are again the concern as residents of Tivoli Village have asked the city to deal with the speeding cars along Pine Leaf Way and again the city is coming to our help. Warka Muhammad, traffic analyst for the city, recently wrote, " I conducted a feasibility study to determine the type and the number of traffic calming devices can be placed on your street and found four speed humps can be installed to help your neighborhood with the speeding issue." She goes on to say that the city is in the midst of selecting anew company to make these installations and should be completed soon.
