Here is a great story about Stoneybrook West and how they have dealt with a resident who had not paid their home owners association dues. Click Here This is just evidence the problem facing Tivoli Village is not limited to our community. More can be done by our HOA board and management company in dealing with these people.
Please reach out to Ernie at Leland Management and ask him to implement a more conservative approach to these dues that have not been paid. Owners, and their residents, in arrears should not be allowed to use our pool, park in spaces along the lake or common areas. Lets help each other in applying pressure to those who need to pay their dues.

The new company could use some organizational help, too. We just moved here in January. Haven't received any info from HOA, either Sentry or current company.
The bank from whom we purchased our home paid the back dues and dues owed up to now (the account had been over $3000 in arrears according to our closing statment!!!)However, they offered no other info except a phone number for Sentry Mgt.
I wouldn't know anything about the HOA had I not stumbled upon this website while doing a Google search on "Tivoli Village".
Can't make a payment as new company doesn't have our names in their system! And no response to my e-mail sent last week for repairs needed. Otherwise, Ernie was very friendly and did get us set up with a gate code in February.
[Our last neighborhood had HOA fees of $269 which included everything here, except the termite coverage, but also included alarm monitoring, Brighthouse basic cable with all available HBO channels, and high speed internet service. I'm wondering what is so different about the costs here, that no extra services are available for such high dues].
Thanks so much for your time and effort in this website. Very, very helpful, especially for a new homeowner.
Patricia - our costs for our community are no different than other communities. Some of our operating costs have gone down from previous years. However, our HOA fees increased 15% each year due to non payment from some of the owners. Our outstanding receivables continue to increase. Hopefully Leland will do a better job of collections than our previous management company Sentry.
I would like to know what everyone else is paying in dues. I thought dues were jumping up to the $2700 range and when I totaled up what we're said to owe, it came to $2988. I'm a little confused by this.
Jamie Citro
Jamie the $2988 is the correct figure.
Patricia,
The bank or realtor that you purchased your unit from are the
ones who were responsible for giving a copy of the HOA Documents
and Articles of Incorporation prior
to the sale and closing of your unit..This was not the responsibility of The Management Company..If those people cannot help you we are sure that Ernie
from Leland Management will get you
copies of these documents. You will
find Ernie to be very helpful.
Any help with this.
On May 10, 2010, send an E-mail to the Board tivolivillage@yahoo.com)in relation to a situation of payment of the HOA, to this day I have received no reply. What was the name of the president of the board or the board address to send my letter? This is a new building, and we were not notified that the HOA had increased. (The builder or the board) never indicated this situation.
Thanks
Rey
