Members of the Tivoli Village Community met Thursday evening to discuss the increasing level of crime along the Lee Vista area. The poolside meeting was open to all owners and/or residents of the community and announced on this blog last month. Although only six homes were represented at the meeting a positive and proactive plan for dealing with crime in our area was developed. These recommendations were passed along to Leland Management in hopes of acquiring board approval and implementation.
Many of the groups recommendations are out of the hands of Leland and the board. They are things we can do as residents here at Tivoli Village. The group discussed where to park cars, what lights to leave on and how to utilize landscaping. Most importantly, everyone agreed with the plan to call the police when ANY suspicious people or activities are seen in our development. If you see something, call someone!
If you would like to see the details of the Crime Prevention Plan they will be located in the community documents section as well as click here!
