National Night Out

The 28th annual National Night Out is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and is scheduled for Tuesday August 2nd. Last years event reached 150,000 communities and 37 million people across our great nation. According to their website, the National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; Generate support for and participation in, local anti-crime programs; Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community relationships; and to send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Tivoli Village will again participate in this years events by conducting our own Flashlight Walk throughout our community. We ask residents to meet at our pool area by 7:30pm on August 2nd and bring your flashlights. We will walk around the community with neighbors joining along the way eventually finding our way back to the pool area for a short meeting about our neighborhood watch. If you have any questions about the National Night Out please visit their website or leave the question here.
