Landscaping is Back!

After some delay the month of May and the heat it brings, is here. May has also brought a new landscaping company to Tivoli Village. Our Community Manager Ernie has let us know that the landscapers, Servello & Sons, have already been through the neighborhood to treat our weeds and that we should see them disappear totally over the next two months.
Just yesterday this new landscape company was in the neighborhood mowing the grass, edging the sidewalk and beginning to make our community look again. If you don't see some serious improvements in your landscape over the next few months please do not hesitate to let Ernie know ... but please let the landscape company try to make things better before you make that call. Ernie has been doing a great job and will continue to do so please give him the benefit of the doubt.
Derek from Servello sent this message to Ernie this week ... "We mowed, edged, trimmed shrubs for lot numbers 110-162 & 207-212 and blew off the entire community. We also sprayed every crack weed (asphalt, sidewalk and driveway paver) in the entire community." The other units will be edged and trimmed by May 17th. Derek went on to write, "We trim the entrances and pool every other visit. In the next 10 days we will have fertilize and treat the turf. it typically takes 7-10 days for the weeds in the turf to die."

I am not happy with the way the landscaping is being done. The place looks like a dump!! They trimmed the bushes and left the clippings all over the place. My front door was filthy with grass clippings and leaves. The tree at the front of my house fell again for the 10th time, they put it back up, but with no support ties, so a little wind will topple it again. I do give Mr. Tedrow kudos for his efforts. At least he acts more like our community advocate than the creatures from Sentry ever did! So thank you Ernie! Now lets get this landscaping fiasco fixed, so people can feel its worth paying the blasted $249 a month!
