As many of you have already seen, opening your mailbox this week should have delivered you an announcement from LeLand Management discussing an upcoming meeting for our community. This meeting is to discuss community business and elect a member of the board.In looking through our community documents you will find a section that requires our HOA board to hold elections for board membership after a specific length of time and then again to hold elections yearly replacing one of the three members. The time has past and the first election is here! As the letter states, being a member of the board is a volunteer basis with no compensation. Ernie says they will meet only twice a year and reminds everyone that you must be in good standing in order to run or hold office.
If you are interested in running for this position please complete the paperwork with your letter and mail it back to Ernie at LeLand management before July 19th. This annual meeting will be held on July 20th @ 7:00pm at the Center Pointe Church off of Curry Ford Road.
