FIRE!

It was just last weekend that a resident of Tivoli Village was surprised by a grease fire in their kitchen. No one was hurt but the kitchen did suffer some serious damage. The fire did provide a significant amount of important information that the Tivoli Village News wanted to share with everyone.

1. Our sprinklers work and work properly.

2. Our local fire department was here within minutes and complimented the changes made to parking. He mentioned that it was much easier and safer for the trucks to drive through the neighborhood.

3. We also wanted to let everyone know that if you have a grease fire in your kitchen, DO NOT throw water on it. Baking soda or a fire extinguisher should be used.
