What to do with Storm Damage

The strong winds and storms we experienced over the past week are a reminder that hurricane season is not the only time to be prepared for emergencies. We were fortunate that today’s storm was mostly just heavy rain, but cold fronts passing through our state this time of year can quickly turn from thunderstorms to tornadoes.

For information on preparing for an emergency, visit the Orlando Fire Department's Office of Emergency Management’s web page at http://cityoforlando.net/emergency. You can also follow them on Twitter @orloem or on Facebook at http://facebook.com/orloem.

Save the following numbers for future reference:

OUC Power Outages: 407.823.9150

This Saturday, our Solid Waste Division did an extra yard waste collection to help clean up from Thursday’s storm. If you have any continuing yard waste issues, please call 407.246.2314 or email swcustomersvc@cityoforlando.net.
