Community Coming Together ...

The Time Has Come For Us To Work Together.

I have lived in Tivoli Village for more than two years. During that time I have met some wonderful people and experienced a series of ups and downs. No matter what I have experienced it has been the same group of us that continue to work together in our effort to make this place the special development it can be. But in order for this to happen we have to put our distractions to the side and be willing to work together for our development.

Here is my proposal:

  1. I will create a more consistent publication of this blog/newspaper. The first of each month will see a new issue. If anyone has a story or event they wish to be shared please email Tom Beard (tivolivillage@yahoo.com) and Ill get it on.
  2. We have so many wonderful people who posses so many great skills that I believe it would be great for us to provide our skills for other community members in a barter or donation type of system. If anyone would like to "advertise" their business or skill on this blog please send a short description and some clip art and I will publish it.
  3. Once a transition team has been established community e-mails should be sent to them from which a weekly e-mail addressing community issues will be sent to Sentry Management and Kyle Sanders. The emails will always be copied to community members.
  4. On the first Sunday of each month we hold monthly meetings at the pool to discuss community meetings and spend some social time with each other.
  5. We must expand our communication efforts by spending a weekend going around to every unit in our community to determine what untis are lived in, are they rental or owners units, seek members for our community watch and update our email and phone numbers.

Let me know what else you can think that we may need to do. I am open to any and all suggestions so please send them my way! Thank you all again for everything you do to help our community.

Our Adventure said...

It is imperative that we not be silenced by apathy. In order to make a difference in Tivoli we all need to take part.

I look forward to working with you my neighbors!
