Yes ... with the hot sun all day and rain all afternoon we know summer is here. But so do the many plants and animals we have living in and around Tivoli Village. It appears that not only do we have snakes in and around but we also are seeing an increase in the amount of bees and wasps. Specifically we are seeing some at the entrance to our pool area.
If you see some bees or wasps in a public area the best thing to do is simply move away. Don't swat at them or chase them as that will only serve to agitate them. Leland management has already been notified about the bees by the pool. If you find some in or around your home I still recommend that you leave them alone as they kill other pests but you may wish to eradicate them at your own leisure. Whatever you decide just be careful as no one likes a sting.
